📺 watched sofia coppola’s marie antoinette. it’s a telling from marie’s pov that’s so beautifully art directed every frame looks like an oil painting. plus, i rly liked how silence is used throughout. s/o to fotn eleonora saravalle for the great rec. 

🎨 saw amy sherald’s exhibit at the whitney. she rose to mainstream fame after painting michelle obama’s first lady portrait, and has a solo show on rn. i can’t get over how she makes subjects, fabrics, and materials all so realistic. beyond!!

🎧 listened to i quit. haim’s new album is out and you already know i’m a fan. my fav track is gone. “you can hate me for what i am / you can shame me for what i’ve done / you can’t make me disappear / you never saw me for what i was”.
