🩰 went to the ballet at lincoln center. it’s my last yr to get the $30 tix for ppl under 30, so i’m trying to take advantage of it. i go for the music and costumes as much as the dancing, and can never believe that this is the view from the farthest away ring!! 

✍️ read the correspondent. a excellent rec by my mom, who led a discussion on it for her book club (!), this story follows a woman in her 70s whose preferred comms method is writing letters. her own life is revealed through them, and that's all i want to tell you. you'll cry and that's ok! 

📚 read the war of art. described to me as “the artist’s way for boys”, this is a quick read that pushes you to overcome ~ resistance ~, aka the inner voice that stops one from putting their creative pursuits out into the world. it's no julia but if you need a kick, this will help.
