🍎 celebrated 5786, the jewish new yr! s/o to my synagogue at home for streaming services, fotn ellie neustein + elijah kochin for hosting a lovely din, and my chic neighbor lisa for being down to eat dessert at 10:30p to ring it in. hoping desperately for a sweeter yr for all. 

📚 read the school for good mothers. a dystopian story about intense punishments for parenting mistakes. i kept rehashing chapters to fotn lwam rafel at work and she kept saying, “why are you still reading this!?" a captivating, grim book that may also make you want to lay down, lol.

🎧 listened to north poles by samia. ok fine, maybe my reading and music choices this wk contributed to the way i felt. whatever!! no lies in tiny. “back to back with our fists around natural wine from the corner / fighting over the cork, we were born to be closers."
