good morning, it's t-11 days til valentine’s day!! i love love, i believe in love, and no matter your relationship status, i firmly believe in the value of wrapping something up w a bow.

so, here's a few gift ideas for any platonic or romantic loves in your life:

🎲 games to play together 🎲 may i suggest the world’s oldest board game, recreated from an original at the british museum? or perhaps this on-theme checkers and backgammon combo?

💐 flowers, duh 💐 you can't go wrong w a bouquet from your local flower shop, or if there isn't one near you, trader joe's. i'm also obsessed w these mini indoor citrus trees: calamondin, meyer lemon, key lime. 

🍬 candy plz 🍬 i don't think we talk enough about dylan's candy bar and their iconic sour gummy tackle boxes. for sweeter tastes, i'd go for a heart-shaped ring pop.

🍫 chocolate, anyone? 🍫 detroit fotn know how special bonbonbon chocolates are, esp their lemon bar none and cereal killer flavors. in a diff direction, i can also vouch for these charming penguins and mice.

👩🏻‍🍳 fun little kitchen things 👩🏻‍🍳 ok more of a treat, but this corkscrew and salt/pepper grinder are functional art! this bright red butter warmer is lovely too, i'd pair it w a pink frosting spreader. 

finally, my #1 rec is to make a card and order in a heart shaped pizza. all anyone rly wants is a little recognition of how you feel about them, and this way no one has to do the dishes.
